Dear Ropers,
At this time I would like to personally thank the Don Rice Family for letting us be a part of the "DON RICE MEMORIAL TEAM ROPING". It was an honor for us and a great tribute to Don Rice who had been an ACTRA member for more than 20 years.
We had over 900 teams competing for over $25,000 in cash and prizes over the weekend.
Congratulations to Lance Rogers and Jess Harris for being the high point header and heeler of the weekend and receiving fully tooled Scott Thomas saddles for their efforts. Shane Rice (Don's grandson) and Keka Beaza were the runner-ups and received breast collars. Joey Cash and John Graham were third and received headstalls. All in all, it was a great weekend and hopefully a great tribute to Mr. Don Rice.
